Terms of service

These terms are general standards and, together with other Danish legislation, regulate the terms of purchase

These sales and delivery terms apply to purchases of goods on shapeit.dk for delivery in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands.

Ordering and payment
Shapeit.dk is open 24 hours a day, so you can almost always shop. However, it may happen that we close the store due to maintenance. You can only make purchases when the store is open and accessible.

To shop at shapeit.dk you must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid payment card that we accept. If you are under 18, you can still purchase goods if you have obtained your guardian’s consent and/or otherwise have the legal right to enter into the purchase.

You select the items you want to buy and place them in the "shopping cart". You can make changes to the contents of the shopping cart right up until the moment you place your order, and you can continuously check the contents and the price of the items.

Any additional charges for, e.g., shipping and payment card fees will be calculated just before you are ready to pay.

When you are ready to order, click on "Checkout", where you enter your name, address, email, phone number, and payment method.

You can change the contents of the shopping cart right up until you confirm your purchase by clicking the "Order and pay" button. After this, your order is sent to shapeit.dk and can no longer be changed.

You are obligated to provide a correct delivery address. If the address you provide cannot be confirmed, shapeit.dk reserves the right to withhold delivery and cancel the order.

Order cancellation
shapeit.dk can cancel an order if delivery of the ordered item is not possible. You will be notified if such a situation occurs, and any payment or reservation made on a payment method will be refunded/canceled.

Receipt of order and order confirmation
When you order a product from us, you will receive an email receipt acknowledging receipt of your order. However, a binding sales agreement is only concluded when you have received an order confirmation/sales receipt from us.

30-day right of withdrawal
When you shop at shapeit.dk, you normally have a 30-day right of withdrawal, during which you can inform us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase and then return the item to us. The withdrawal period starts from the day you receive the item. If the deadline falls on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve, the deadline is extended to the next business day.

After receiving the goods, you may only handle the items in a way that allows you to determine the nature, characteristics, and how they function.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must make an unequivocal statement notifying us no later than 30 days after receiving the item. If you wish to withdraw your purchase, you can email us at info@shapeit.dk and we will then send you a return form. If you withdraw, a return shipping cost of DKK 50 will apply unless the return is an exchange.

Returns

When returning items, you should ensure they are securely packaged. You are responsible for the package/items until we receive them. Therefore, keep the receipt from the shipping company and any tracking number. You must pay the cost of return shipping when you exercise your right of withdrawal. If you return items purchased with a shapeit.dk gift card, you will receive a credit note for the corresponding amount.

Exchanges

Shapeit offers free exchanges. Send an email to our customer service at info@shapeit.dk with information on which product you would like to exchange to and your order number, and we will send you a return label. Once we have received your returned item, we will send you the size/item you want.

If you withdraw after an exchange and wish to return your order for a refund, Shapeit.dk will deduct all shipping costs incurred in connection with the exchange from the amount to be refunded.
Shapeit.dk only covers the costs for the first exchange.

IMPORTANT
We expect you to dispatch the items as soon as possible after you have notified us of withdrawal, and you must send them back no later than 30 days after you have withdrawn.

Note!
- We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery or similar.
- We expect the item to be in the same condition as when we sent it.
- Proof of purchase and return form
- You must include a copy of the order confirmation or other proof of purchase.

Refund / reimbursement
When we receive the item, we will inspect it, and you will be refunded the amount you paid us for the purchase. The amount will always be transferred to the same payment method you used. For example, if you paid by card, the purchase amount will be refunded to the card you used for the purchase.

NOTE:

You may lose your purchase amount, in whole or in part. This happens if the item's value is reduced because:

- you have actually used the item,
- it has been damaged while under your responsibility,
- you have handled the item in a way other than necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and how it functions,
- you have not followed the restrictions on the right of withdrawal related to sealing, product type, etc.

Of course, a complaint must be justified, and the defect must not have arisen due to incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior.
You must contact us within a “reasonable time.” You must complain within a “reasonable time” after discovering the defect. We recommend complaining as soon as possible, and within 2 months after the defect was discovered.

To assess your complaint, we ask you to provide the following:

1. Send us a brief description of how the damage or defect occurred. Please note you should contact our customer service as soon as you notice the defect.

2. To document the defect, send 4-5 photos along with the description.

The defect must be clearly visible in at least one of the photos. Additionally, ensure your photos show the entire product, once from the front and once from the back (for shoes, include a photo of the sole).

3. Send the photos by email to info@shapeit.dk

4. Please provide the order number the item was purchased on – or attach a copy of the order confirmation/receipt.

5. After receiving your photos, we will process your complaint as soon as possible.

If you need to return item(s) under a complaint case, shapeit.dk will send a prepaid return label to use. If you choose not to use the prepaid return label (and therefore cover all shipping costs yourself), please send the items back.

In case of a justified complaint, we reimburse reasonable shipping costs.

Remember that the item must always be sent in secure packaging and you should obtain proof of shipment. You are responsible for the package/items until we receive it. Therefore, keep the postal receipt including shipping cost details and any tracking number.

Note! We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery or similar.


Gift cards
Use of gift cards requires your acceptance of the following terms and conditions. The electronic gift card can be kept and expires 1 year from the issue date. The gift card value can be up to DKK 5,000. We take no responsibility for lost, damaged, stolen, or deactivated gift cards. We reserve the right to change these rules.

The gift card can be used for full or partial payment when shopping at shapeit.dk. The amount you spend is deducted from the balance, and if there is a remaining balance, you will receive a new gift card by email with the remaining amount. Gift cards CANNOT be exchanged for cash.

Discount codes (Vouchers)
We periodically offer discount codes as part of our marketing. These codes are only valid for limited periods and may be subject to special conditions. Codes may be restricted to use only on certain products, categories, or brands.

When using a discount code, you must spend the specified minimum amount. If you spend less than the specified minimum, the difference will not be refunded. Any discount code you wish to use must be entered during checkout before you pay your order. You cannot claim a forgotten discount code after the order has been placed. Only one discount code can be used per order.

Discount codes are not personal and may be used by whoever holds them. Discount codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit notes, or similar.

In case of fraud, attempted fraud, or suspicion of other illegal activity related to the use of discount codes, we are entitled to cancel the discount code, cancel the order on which the code was used, and permanently block your ability to shop at shapeit.dk.

Personal data
To shop at shapeit.dk, you must as a minimum provide:

• Name
• Address
• Email address
• Phone/mobile number

The above data is stored along with information on what products you have purchased for 5 years from the end of the fiscal year concerned, according to the Danish Bookkeeping Act §10, after which the data will be deleted.

If you have created a login for self-service with us, your personal information and order details will not be deleted unless you request it.

Information is not shared or sold to third parties, unless in connection with a restructuring or a complete or partial sale of the company. Any such transfer will comply with applicable personal data legislation at all times.

As a customer, you have the right to access our data register about you and may object to any registration according to relevant personal data legislation, by contacting customer service via email info@shapeit.dk.

Cookies
By using shapeit.dk you accept that we use cookies. A cookie is a small data file that we place on your computer to keep track of what happens during your visit and to recognize the computer. A cookie is not a program and does not contain viruses.

Default
If the customer defaults on obligations under these sales and delivery terms, shapeit.dk may suspend or restrict your use of shapeit.dk’s website, and orders will not be able to be placed.

The following are considered material defaults, among others:

• The customer provides false information about name, address, email address, phone number
• The customer harasses shapeit.dk, our employees, or our customers

Complaints
If you want to complain about your purchase, please contact info@shapeit.dk. If we are unable to find a satisfactory solution, and if the conditions are met, you may submit a complaint to the Consumer Complaints Board.

Choice of law and jurisdiction
Purchases of goods on shapeit.dk are governed by Danish law. Any disputes will be settled by the ordinary Danish courts.
