Lotus Headstand

Lotus Headstand, or Padma Sirsasana , combines headstand (Sirsasana) with lotus (Padmasana) and requires balance, strength and flexibility. It activates the core , shoulders and hips , while challenging mental focus.

Correct technique and form

  • Start in headstand and gently move into the lotus position.
  • Keep the shoulders active and the balance stable.
  • Stay in the position for 5-10 breaths and release with control.
